Q. Do you think everyone will enjoy the drumming?

A.

Yes!

We have had so many experiences where people, who were very reluctant at first, had such a fantastic time we had trouble getting our drums back!
(These are often people who appear to be serious & conservative.)

Drum Beats events are so inclusive and build confidence in such a fun way that participants cannot help but enjoy themselves.

Q. We haven't played drums before. is it for us?

A.

Yes!

Experience and skill level are not important.

Our primary objective is to offer participants an experience of the unity and community created by interactive group dynamics.

The atmosphere is one of fun and play as people of all levels of musical ability are empowered to find their own personal rhythm.

Q. Really? Even if i have as much rhythm as a plank of wood?

A.

All living species have rhythm.

The chances are your heart is still beating, so you have rhythm!

OK. Seriously now, many of us through no fault of our own have lost that connection with our own rhythm.
Drum Beats programs are an excellent way to reawaken that connection with our own personal rhythm. Magic happens even for participants who feel they are rhythmically challenged.

Q. Why do you use drums?

A.

The drum is probably the easiest instrument to use.

Hitting a drum is therapeutic. It allows people to release energy and express themselves in a way not usually possible.

Q. Will you show us how to play the drums?

A.

Yes, but the actual technique is secondary.

The focus is upon experiencing the unity and community created by interactive group dynamics.

A.

Yes, we pride ourselves on our creativity and flexibility.

We are only limited by your imagination.

Q. Why should I choose Drum Beats?

A.

You want a loud, rhythmical and exhilarating experience that brings people together.

You would like your event to be hands-on and involve everyone.

We are told by our clients that we are easy to work with and have great facilitation skills.

Participants regularly comment upon the warmth of the interaction created by the Drum Beats staff.

Q. What age is best?

A.

That's a tough question because there is no best age.

Drum Beats has shows appropriate to preschool-aged children, teenagers, adults and senior citizens.

One of the really special attributes of a Drum Beats party/ event is that people of all ages, regardless of musical background, can enjoy music together.

Q. How much space is needed?

A.

We can work with you and make almost any space work.

Usually we use the space in the conference room.

People will be seated at their chairs as for usual presentations.

Basically, if there is room for the participants to sit upon their chairs, they can easily also hold a drum.

Q. Indoors or outdoors?

A.

We prefer indoors because the acoustics are usually better.

At retreats or informal settings, outdoors works really well and is a terrific way to clear the mind and recharge the batteries.

Q. How long will it last?

A.

This really depends upon your objectives:

To break the ice at a Party, Wedding, Bat mitzvah, or really for any type of celebration - 25 to 60 minutes

For a product launch - 15 minutes to a whole day

As a drum circle workshop - 50 to 90 minutes.
